graphic design it is!

June 5, 2006

i’m doing graphic design now. well, AGAIN really. so much of what i love about interior design is the graphic aspect — i dream of silk-screening . . . seriously. the idea of creating prints & patterns for household articles (e.g. curtains, pillows, rugs, wallpaper, etc.) & clothing items brings me ridiculous amounts of joy — not to mention the idea of designing websites, print media & best of all, the credit sequences & digital effects for jeremy’s films. adobe after effects titillates me to no end (i’ve never used it, but the idea of using it almost makes me wet myself). so yeah, it’s done.

happy birthday jeremy!!!

June 1, 2006

let’s hear it for the boy! let’s give the boy a hand! let’s hear for my baby! (note: do NOT pick up where these lyrics leave off, they will no longer apply . . . he is my romeo).

here are just a few of my favorite pictures of the newly 28 year old:

best kid picture EVER. i hope our kids inherit this word-defying facial expression . . . enthusiasm? or sardonic irreverence?

look how gentle jeremy used to be. awww.

got to love the hair & the attitude.

i almost died when i saw this picture for the first time. this is from right before his mission—have you ever seen anything so adorable??

travelling with jeremy is the BEST—he gets so excited about new places & new beauty & his interest in other parts of the world is insatiable.

this one will embarrass . . . oh well . . . ;)

jeremy & ema are two peas in a pod.

this one’s a gem.

i love his leaning pose—i can’t tell you how many pictures i’ve seen with jeremy at some odd angle. i love them all.

he starred in one of bruce’s directing exercises—he played a mad, homicidal scientist type, people were amazed by how far he took it and by how naturally it came to him :)

and here he is in athens. a photographer friend of ours asked jeremy to model. he’ll be embarrassed by this one too—lol. i adore it.

let’s all raise a glass to jeremy! i love you!!
