a good friend of mine & i are going to start heading up weekly art-making events. i’m pretty excited about it. it’s just what i’ve been needing. so far our proposed endeavors include: flower-arranging, gourmet cooking, gardening, silk-screening, stamp-making (a la kim hickman kelly), paper-making, leather works (belts, purses, chaps (jk), etc.), sewing, knitting, crocheting, photographing, making/altering frames for photographs, matting photographs, book-making, jewelry-making, furniture-making, stained glass works (a la aimee evans hickman), and painting. just thought i’d announce this today – seems like it ought to go with a song about lightning.
